The Origin

Emotionally moved by a photo

Wrapped", taken in 1942 by the famous photographer Otto Furter (1904-1998). Dany Fay, with the permission of Otto Furter's granddaughter, has transformed this motif into a reinterpretation of the tapestry.

The original photo pairs the beauty and tranquility of the Engadine - untouched nature, peace, silence - with Dany's personal vision of an ideal and pure world.

An image that transmits so much and yet expresses only minimalism. The photo of the two trees wrapped by a mantle of snow, snow that enchants the surrounding nature into a glittering sea of tranquility, is a work of art inspired by nature, yet made for everyday life.

The Brand "Dany Fay & friends"

Dany fay & friends GmbH is a studio for unique, handmade furnishings based in Germany.

Behind the name are founder Daniela Fay and her friends, a handful of select partners - each excellent in their métier - one of them KRAMIS.

The company shares a strong passion for innovative yet classic, timeless design.

An innovation can be as simple as mixing fabrics and textiles with a special technique, for example, using luminous cords in a new, different way. In this way, the company creates unique designs designed to address the relationship between man and nature and to stimulate dialogue with the environment.
