The origin of the "Gänseblümchen"
A revival of the forgotten art of tapestry
The most underestimated and forgotten creature in the floral habitat: the daisy.
It opens only during the day and embraces the world with its meaning - trusting and faithful.
It's a flower that can always be seen everywhere, and yet we tend to overlook it.
When Daniela Fay thought about this tapestry revival, the idea of the daisy swung into her head.
Some facts about the rug
The rug is 180 x 180 cm and is on a wooden picture frame.
The colors are deliberately colored in natural tones, so that this work of art fits into modern living and object situations.
For the leaves, we used linen and combined it with two colors to get the desired shadow effect.
To make the daisy appear as three-dimensional as possible, we tufted in clumps in the center, which were then individually "coiffed" by hand.
This collaboration has resulted in a tapestry of the highest class. - HAUTE WALLERIE

The craftsmanship & product
Only the finest and best materials are used, such as virgin wool and linen. KRAMIS offers the long experience and perfection of hand tufting and Daniela Fay her creativity. This creates a stunning focal point in any home, office, public building, hotel and more.
By using different wool threads that are joined together with a gentle cutting process, these works of art are characterized by an incredible 3D effect. Additionally, very fine LED fibers are woven into the tapestry - a unique and unseen way to transform tapestries into contemporary art.
