SWISSCRAFT
The starting signal for a new era. At a time when everything can no longer cost anything, KRAMIS is consciously focusing on lasting values: High-quality materials, careful craftsmanship, resource-saving processes and a design that is equally modern and timeless.
The collection comprises three models and three colorways that can be freely combined with one another. Each rug is tufted to measure as a unique piece, so that the sizes can be determined individually.

The Virgin Wool
Swiss farms bring their sheep's wool to Spycher Handwerk AG in Huttwil, where the wool is carefully sorted by hand. The hand sorters only select wool of the same quality for the SWISSCRAFT collection, so that it is best suited for durable rugs. Once the new wool has been sorted and washed, it is transported virtually across the road to the Huttwil wool spinning mill, where the new wool is then spun into thread specaliced for rugs.

The Linen
SwissFlax uses flax from 100% Swiss cultivation. After roasting, they press it into round bales and make it ready for further processing. As there are no suitable facilities in Switzerland, companies in other European countries open and spin the fibers industrially.

The Dyer
The Färberei Probst is located in the heart of the Emmental and dyes our new wool and linen. The yarn is stored there raw so that only the required quantity is dyed, thus avoiding overproduction.

The Craftsmanship
The KRAMIS carpet manufactory is located in Altbüron, Lucerne, in the heart of Switzerland. This is where the yarn is processed into high-quality, sustainable carpets. Each thread is tufted into the backing fabric by hand, line by line, and finished by hand.
PR from SWISSCRAFT
Rug care - SWISSCRAFT
With the SWISSCRAFT model, you can use a conventional vacuum cleaner with a floor nozzle. It is important that the brush is retracted and the vacuum cleaner tube is pulled in a slow movement from the remote position to the body. Important: do not rub.
On the following video you can see the execution of how to properly vacuum the rug.
Remove stains - SWISSCRAFT
Spray mineral water with a high carbonic acid content on the stain and let this act for about 30 seconds. Afterwards you can dab the spot dry with a white household paper. (Attention: Do not rub!) You can repeat this process until the stain is gone.
